Our Dentists-
Dr Helen deMan
General Dentist
Dr. Helen deMan graduated with honours from the University of Toronto Dental School in 1990. She was awarded the 3M Restorative Award for cosmetic dentistry. Her passion is creating beautiful smiles. In addition to practicing with her husband Dr. Harry Höediono, she was an associate clinical professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. In 2014 Dr. deMan was inducted into the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy for her excellent work and many contributions to dentistry. Recently, Dr. deMan was honoured by her peers by being made a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Dr Harry Höediono
General Dentist
Dr. Harry Höediono is a 1990 graduate of the University Of Toronto School Of Dentistry. He is a Moss Star Scholar and was awarded the Keith Box Silver Medal in Periodontal surgery.
He is past Chair of the Board of Directors of Grand River Hospital, Past President of the Ontario Dental Association, and has sat on numerous ODA committees, including the award-winning Oral Health Strategy Advisory Committee. As part of the ODA's Student Outreach Program, he is a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto Dental School and also the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has lectured internationally and is an ODA Media contact dentist, appearing in numerous newspapers, magazines, and radio/television interviews on various current dental topics.
He is also a staff contact dentist for St. Mary's hospital and also the founder and President of ONTRACK CES a continuing education software company. Dr. Höediono has been in general dental practice with his wife Dr. Helen de Man for 32 years and devotes much of his practice to full mouth rehabilitation and complex occlusions. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, The Pierre Fauchard Academy, and in 2008 was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. Dr. Höediono was award the previous Barnabas Day by the Ontario Dental Association in 2024, one of the highest awards that can be awarded to a dentist. Dr. Höediono recently was selected as the recipient of the University of Toronto dentistry 2025 alumni of influence award which is the highest award given by the University of Toronto.

Dr Mike Schenkel
General Dentist
Dr. Mike Schenkel has been with our practice for 9 years and is a passionate and dedicated professional known for his warm personality and dedication to excellent clinical care. Dr. Schenkel earned his Doctorate of Dentistry from Griffith University, Australia. He also holds a BSc and an MSc in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Guelph. He has published several research papers and has been awarded grants from Colgate and the Australian Research Foundation for his work in therapeutic dental sciences.
Dr. Schenkel works with several volunteer groups both locally and abroad including the Nepalese dental outreach program Around Good People which brings primary care to areas with no access to treatment, many of whom are kids of remote villages.
In his free time, Dr. Schenkel enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife Dr. Caley Höediono and is an avid golfer, climber, and surfer.

Dr Kelsey Motomura
General Dentist
Dr. Kelsey Motomura has been with our practice for 9 years was born and raised in Cambridge. She studied Bio-Medical Science at the University of Guelph and was then accepted to the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Toronto.
During her four years in dental school, Dr. Motomura served as Class Vice-President. She was actively involved in the Peer Mentorship and Restorative Mentorship programs, as well as the Dental Students Society. Dr. Motomura graduated on the Dean's List. She was the recipient of the J.G. Bourassa Cup from the Faculty of Dentistry for her academic standing and extra-curricular involvement. She also received the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award from the University of Toronto in her graduating year.
Dr. Motomura has participated in Dental and Medical Outreach opportunities both globally and locally. She has volunteered on missions to Guatemala and Honduras, as well as with Health Mission Outreach in Brampton.
Outside of work, Dr. Motomura enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, hiking, baking and playing board games.
Dr. Kelsey Motomura is excited to join Dr. deMan & Dr. Höediono's practice! She is a friendly compassionate dentist who is committed to providing quality comprehensive dental care for her patients. She especially enjoys working with children.

Dr Robert Mason
General Dentist
Dr. Robert Mason is a recent graduate from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Toronto. He grew up in the small town of Baden, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, and is excited to serve our community.
During his schooling, he had the opportunity to volunteer with community outreach programs and provide care to underserved communities in need. These experiences cemented (pun intended) the importance of dentistry and the impact that it can have on people's lives. He cares deeply about making patients feel comfortable and at ease, and is trained to provide nitrous sedation if you are dentally anxious.
He's looking forward to meeting all of you and building connections for years to come!
